Special Centennial Pictorial Stamp Cancellation Available

The cancellation is a distinctive imprint of a locomotive that mirrors the Seward Centennial logo with
the August 28th date and Seward Founders Day Station location. This cancellation commemorates the 100th
anniversary of the founding of the City of Seward as the ocean terminus of a railroad to the Interior.

Cancelled covers and postcards are available at the Seward Museum on 3rd Avenue at Jefferson St.
The cost is $3 and $2, respectively.
